This text and foto is about an activity that took place in one of the schools of Aradas. The pupils planted holly trees and alders to celebrate the "Autóctone forest day".
"Dia da Floresta Autóctone" no Agrupamento de Escolas de Aradas
No dia 23 de Novembro assinalou-se o dia da Floresta Autóctone, no Lar Especializado de Infância e juventude Casa Alberto Souto.
Respeitando o Plano Anual de Actividades do Agrupamento de Escolas de Aradas os docentes convidaram os alunos do Lar para plantarem árvores de espécies autóctones no espaço verde da instituição. Esta acção tinha como principais objectivos: incutir a sensibilização ambiental e alertar para a importância ecológica e patrimonial. Assim, foram “reflorestados” Azevinhos e Amieiros.

With the help of students home from Dr. Alberto Souto, entered into this activity for our school, holly and alders were reforested.
Another great example for our school!
